That's why next week, we're holding the Will Pate Memorial Web 2.0 Hotties Showdown, a single-elimination tournament of the cutest guys and girls running the New Shiny Internet. Send your nominations to tips@valleywag.com with the subject "Web 2.0 Hottie" — and include a photo that you own the rights to (or a Creative-Commons-licensed photo). All nominees must be core team members of a Web 2.0 startup.

By next Friday, we'll all know who cleans up good with Ajax and who looks hot in a pastel gradient.
