As much as the world likes to pit Google versus Yahoo, the two companies have completely different strategies, as demonstrated by product releases from both companies today that practically symbolize their content-vs-technology divide. Yahoo launched a new site section called Yahoo Food, while Google launched a phone app for its e-mail service, Gmail Mobile.
On the one hand, I've been aching for something better than the clunky Gmail mobile web interface. On the other, Yahoo has some mighty tasty pumpkin pie photos and I love me some Martha Stewart. Which product will you use more?
