Revealed for the person he is

Auren Hoffman promises, in a blurb for his new venture: Rapleaf will reveal you for the honest person that you are. Slightly embarrassing then that Hoffman, founder of the online reputation database, fiddled with his own Wikipedia entry, he's admitted to Venturebeat. As Valleywag suspected. Even in his confession, the creepy networker may have stretched the truth. Hoffman implied to Venturebeat he made up a username, MLK Hamilton, and adjusted his entry in the online encyclopedia, after a friend, Jonathan Abrams, wrote something inaccurate and irrelevant about his dancing skills and apartment egowall. Hmm. Wikipedia's change history shows that MLK Hamilton was active, massaging the networker extraordinaire's bio, eight months before Abrams' edit. Which reveals something, but not Hoffman's honesty.
