Eric Schmidt's personal security costs Google more than 14 times as much as that of Larry Page, even though he's about one-fifth as famous. So, why's the search engine's chief executive, relatively obscure compared with the company's billionaire founders, in so much danger? One waggish Valleywag reader suggests the Google boss needs security guards to keep apart his wife and long-time girlfriend. Any other ideas?
