    Ron Conway v. Ross Levinsohn

Ronald.ConwayPicture 273Whatever happened to Ross Levinsohn? The one-time Fox Interactive boss, who bought Myspace for Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, was supposed to have launched an internet investment fund by now. The smooth-talking exec had better hurry up, because he's rapidly using up his chits. The latest loss? The goodwill of Ron Conway, the legendary angel investor. Conway, an early backer of Google, is letting everybody know his fury with Levinsohn. The rumor going the rounds is this: Levinsohn, who talks a big game, demanded a particularly rich deal for himself to help a company which owns Faketown. Conway — an angel investor in this multiplayer game, which is like Second Life but with fewer pretensions — feels Levinsohn took the company for a ride, according to people who've talked to him. We don't have the details, yet, but, says a tipster: "The hatred between them is now insane. Ross is bullying around little startups, demanding special deals because he's a famous 'CEO'."
