Celebrity profile pages, on social network sites such as Orkut, have two great advantages over the newspaper profile. The personal trivia is even more trivial; and there's no need to wade through boilerplate quotes to get to the anecdotes. So it is with Marissa Mayer's page on Orkut. We learn that the Google product exec, ex-girlfriend of Larry Page, likes all food but curry, which gives her a headache; that she does indeed, despite one of the most mechanical laughs in Googledom, have a sense of humor, which she describes as "dry/sarcastic"; and that she makes no effort to make her musical taste seem interesting.
