Google's most disgruntled employees, well apart from the peons who sweep the floors at the search engine's server farms, are the vastly over-qualified graduates hired in to its Adwords and Adsense groups. They may have degrees from top-tier schools, but the recruits discover quickly that a liberal arts education is a handicap at a company that fetishizes engineers; that the affiliate ad departments are banished to the periphery of Mountain View's Googleplex; and they're glorified customer service reps, dealing with the complaints of websites running Google text ads. But there is one consolation, a correspondent notes.

One unspoken perk I'll hand to the legions of non-technical recent grads at Google: their hook-up culture. Take a couple hundred attractive, intelligent, recent grads shove them in a room for 40+ hours a week and it's only natural what will happen next...You can't spell google without orgy. Well almost...
