At a fête thrown by the partners of Emergence Capital, Joe Beninato, Marc Friend and Michael Howse announced their new fund, Remergence Capital.

I was at the Emergence Capital summer party in San Mateo tonight. There were 3 guys who played a practical joke on the Emergence partners by spoofing their firm, complete with real business cards for Remergence Capital, and even a spoof web site they were showing off.

Wacky! There truly ain't no party like a venture capital firm party.
