Comedy, Darling and IFC.Com are also set to tickle your funny bone with the premiere of Mary Van Note’s ten episode series, “Gavin Really Wants Me,” at the Purple Onion Comedy Club. Join host Van Note on her quest to woo the ever coiffed and dreamy Mayor of San Francisco, Mr. Gavin Newsom. Tomorrow, scrap the flag football and celebrate your independence day with a throwback to tech’s early days with a TRON and Brainstorm double feature at the Castro! “Excuse me, did she just say a seminal dose of espionage, gaming, and a young Christopher Walken?
