The merging of America's traditional Haute Asshole cohort and the new economic engine is happening faster than predicted: just look at how many Silicon Valley fixtures were at last night's San Francisco love IPO between the West and Kardashian families.
After shelling out at least $200,000 for AT&T Park, the Wests decided to invite some local brass to... watch it all. Remember: if it wasn't Instagrammed, it did not happen.
Alison Pincus, wife of failed Zynga CEO Mark Pincus and owner of shopping site One Kings Lane, was in attendance as well:
Alexis Traina, wife of nerd stylist and San Francisco snob Trevor Traina, was also present for some reason. And of course, it wouldn't be a confluence of venture capital and hip hop without the presence of Ben Horowitz—seen up top—who brought along loudmouth Rap Genius frontman Mahbod Moghadam. It's not an inexplicable ballpark engagement without a dude in sunglasses at night.
