Popular socialnetworkutility Facebook has updated Lexicon, the tool for marketers and advertisers to monitor what users are saying about topics or products. It now scans the publicly available updates made by users, such as posts to each other's "Walls," and now the new Sentiment feature produces visual displays of related terms — the better to position your brand and spin discontent by buying ads targeted to the very keywords Facebook users are typing into their profiles. Facebook's new Lexicon feature lays site demographic bare
To track the frequency of words in Facebook Wall posts, the social network has created a Lexicon feature. Programmer-gadfly Ted Dziuba suggests this search: "pregnant, tequila."
