The practice of writing a prayer on paper, folding it and placing it in the cracks between the ancient bricks recently made news when Israeli newspaper Maariv published a note left by American presidential candidate Barack Obama. In the future, Obama might prefer to anonymously post his missives online via the Western Wall Heritage Foundation — emails and faxes are also accepted. (Photo by AP/Tara Todras-Whitehill)
