The website is password-protected, but Valleywag got a list of who's going. It's a curious mix of professional conference attendees, like Rapleaf's Auren Hoffman, Loïc Le Meur of Seesmic, TechCrunch's Michael Arrington, and David Sifry of Technorati, mixed in with a few people who have day jobs. There are even Googlers on the list — and when have you known those lot to leave the protective bubble of Mountain View? Oddly, Jimmy Wales did not seem to make the cut, though his New York patroness, Louise Blouin MacBain, is listed. In the comments, sort the TechTalkers into your preferred categories.

<![CDATA[The Lobby's leisurely entrepreneurs]]> While other startup founders have to stay home and, you know, work, these guys have the time and the spare $3,000 to spend hanging out at a zero-agenda conference in Hawaii. (For the record, we're jealous.) Spotted in Yahoo executive Bradley Horowitz's Flickr stream: Benchmark entrepreneur-in-waiting Nirav Tolia; "stepped-up" LinkedIn chairman Reid Hoffman; FeedBurner founder Dick Costolo, who's rolling in Googlebucks; Linden Lab CEO Philip Rosedale; Evan Williams from Twitter; Mashery's Oren Michels; and
Kevin Rose (and his new haircut) from Digg with Joshua Schachter from the Yahoo-owned Del.icio.us. One question: Is this really Meebo CEO Seth Sternberg? I don't recognize him looking so unnerdly. (Photo by: bradley23)

<![CDATA[To-Do tonight: Have fun (!) at Web 2.0, or find Waldo]]>
  • No badge, no pass, no problem: Hang out in the Sonoma conference room, which Mashery rented out as soon as it heard O'Reilly was holding its conference here. They're handing out margaritas, and I hear the wifi's better than the sketchy conference connection. Hell, I'm walking down there as soon as I finish this list. [SF Gate]
  • Did you RSVP for AOL's dinner with a "special guest" (Hint: word is it's Lou Reed)? Then heaven help you when you try to slip in. []
  • Is there an Ask.com party tonight? Any other parties? Can I get a witness? Tips@valleywag.com if you know of one.
  • Or dress like Waldo and join the crowd outside SF's Ferry Building. [Laughing Squid]
