He's also become the butt of an incredibly obscure joke. Someone edited a comparison of file systems to add a new feature to ReiserFS and Reiser4 — unlike any other file system available today, the two developed by Hans Reiser will "Murder Your Wife." The change was removed from the Wikipedia page within 90 minutes.
