I challenge you to come out of anonymity and to reveal who you are and what exactly makes you an arbiter of artistic taste. Drue has a list of achievements that few artists her age can match, and people from Grammy winner Wynton Marsalis to the late 49ers coach Bill Walsh respect her talent [www.drue.net] . Drue has raised thousands through her art for many causes. What have you done?
BTW, if any of you ever strikes it rich in the Valley-- highly unlikely, if you spend your work hours reading/commenting on ValleyWag-- don't invest your money in art. It really is not your forte & you'll go bankrupt.
@Snugbug: Thanks Snugbug. While I strongly disagree with your assessment of Drue's art, you have balls.
@"Michael Arrington": You are NOT Michael Arrington. Just received a response from the real Michael Arrington confirming you are an impersonator. It is outrageous that ValleyWag has allowed your fake comments to go on for so long: I can see comments from you dating from March 08, including "masterpieces" like:
"What the hell, I expected a better picture with this post" (with regard to a child porn post)
"I play the role of an 1800s steamboat captain in my illicit sex videos" (on a post about a Nazi-inspired sex video), etc.
Get a life, jerk!
Regards,
Svetlozar #druekataoka

These are not public figures, this is harmless and it could have happened to any of us.

A matched pair of skanks. Blasts of porno thoughts with "How's your mother?" and "What's for lunch?"
Yuck.
And how old is Jake? Obviously toddler or less. Good luck, kid. You're going to need it. #thewaywelivenow

Why on earth would you use work email for this exchange?? Are they trying to add to that 10.2% unemployment rate? #thewaywelivenow

I wrote back that "Sorry, wrong email address" with a cc to the Managing Partner. He was fired at the end of the day, I think, because of the nasty language, not because of the affair, since the woman wasn't fired. She resigned later after everybody in the office knew what had happen.
I know I didn't really have to send a copy to their boss but I felt like doing it and was happy I did. #thewaywelivenow

You sound very judgmental. I might have guessed you were young and just starting out in your career when this happened. However, since you justify this by touting your morals, your age was probably irrelevant. Whether 23 or 43, your response would likely have been the same.
You should hope that you're never in the position to need help from co-workers to correct a professional mistake. We all make them. With your attitude, you won't have many sympathetic takers. #thewaywelivenow

As far as needing help from my co-workers, believe me, I have made many a mistake in my career and my co-workers, who admire and like me because I am always a professional, have been nothing but helpful and wonderful; as I have been to them. So, get off your high horse. Life is difficult and, if you are smart, you won't make your own life more difficult than it has to be. Keep your love life and your smut life to yourself. Don't broadcast it over email. The fool deserved what he got and he would have gotten fired sooner or later with or without any input from me. #thewaywelivenow
