Auren Hoffman, or a Wikipedia contributor with an unnatural interest in protecting the Valley networker's reputation, has been removing references in the online encyclopedia to his Republican tendencies. But who's been spreading such compromising information? A user going by the handle jabrams, after calling Hoffman an "uber-connector", wrote, before being deleted: "Hoffman's San Francisco loft is decorated with pictures of prominent Republican politicians, but he makes up for his conservative leanings by being an excellent dancer." Would that by any chance be Jonathan Abrams? Abrams, nightclub owner and founder of proto social networking site, Friendster, is a pal of Hoffman.
