Which software entrepreneur, backed by the overgrown fratboy of venture capital, Tim Draper, was recently discovered with a gram of cocaine by a cop in a Palo Alto bathroom? (Draper Fisher Jurvetson funds so many ventures that this really could be anyone.) The unfortunate founder, who faced charges in court yesterday, forgot to close the door of the bathroom stall. A bouncer walked straight in, not realizing it was occupied, and so surprised the 38-year-old exec that he dropped the baggie of powder and the keys he was allegedly using to dig out the powder. So, wouldn't the bouncer just have told him to pack up and leave? Maybe, but a Palo Alto cop happened to walk in, and witness the whole incident. And they say Silicon Valley nightlife is dull.
