With more than eighty different product lines at Google, it's hard for Larry and Sergey to remember all their offspring. The search giant had to be reminded to update Google Trends, the fun lab project to track the popularity over time of search terms such as "paris hilton". Until bloggers noticed, the data hadn't been updated in more than three months. Which helps explain why, according to the search engine's own charts, the number of people searching for "google trends" has dropped off so radically since the tool launched. Any other Google offerings being similarly neglected?
