NASA says the space agency's new agreement with Google will allow every American to experience a virtual flight through the canyons of Mars. One hopes the flythrough is less repetitive than the search engine's existing Mars map. That is stitched together such that, when one pulls back, the same depressions and mountains appear, again and again, as if images on a psychedelic film strip, viewed on acid.
