IDG at least had the decency to admit that they were closing down Infoworld magazine. Red Herring's publishers seem to be taking the same approach, focusing their efforts on the web, but all the time hoping that nobody notices they've stopped publishing in print. The tech magazine's website, as you can tell from the before-and-after screenshots after the jump, no longer displays the cover of the latest issue, nor any subscription information. One informant tells us that Alex Vieux's tech magazine hasn't published in four weeks. Red Herring has a long and occasionally illustrious history. It's time to put the title out of its misery.
