The rumor: redundant AOL employees will begin hearing tomorrow morning at the Time Warner internet unit's headquarters in Virginia. AOL's cutting costs, as it abandons its dialup access service for consumers, which was the basis of its business. Cunning timing: fewer mouths to feed at the division's holiday party this Saturday.
