The organizers of The Lobby, the latest addition to the conference circuit, have slapped on a password to the guest list for their October schmoozefest. But not before Valleywag grabbed the names. It's a who's who of the new new media, including everyone from the founders of Google to the boss of Reuters. (For social climbers, and conspiracy theorists, all 258 names, after the jump.) Of course, only some portion of the invitees will actually attend; and there are some curious omissions. David Hornik, the prime mover behind the off-the-record event in Hawaii, is, occasionally, a venture capitalist. But, for the sake of appearances, at least, shouldn't he have invited competitors such as Mike Moritz, the Sequoia partner who backed both Yahoo and Google? There are no partners from Sequoia, Accel, Benchmark or Kleiner Perkins, on the list.
