Before any silly rumors start, no one at Valleywag has anything to do with CrunchWag, a new site that redirects to crunchwag.wordpress.com. Someone registered the domain under the pseudonym "Crunch Wag." The registration info uses the address and phone number for the San Francisco Church of Scientology (I called the number. Even Scientologist receptionists are creepy).

And no, Michael Arrington of the blog TechCrunch wouldn't do this either. He knows there's no money in gossip.

But we did get the username and password to post entries, thanks to a forwarded e-mail that Crunch Wag sent to several Valleyfolk. Click through if you really feel like blogging there.
