Alarm:clock announces yet another VoIP system, TelTel. Says the tech business blog: "Pity the consumer, there are so many nice new VoIP offers, how do you commit?"
You don't. After all, another dozen options will come next week. In January Fonality got money; two weeks ago, SIPphone picked up $6 mil.
All this despite a VoIP market more crowded than a Castro bar on Dance Night. Last April, tech blogger Om Malik predicted the VoIP market would "clean up" by the end of the year. But it's just getting messier.
But don't worry, at some point the Patent and Trademark Office will run out of names combining "Sip," "Light," "Giz," "Wire," and "Link."
