So, a couple of people wrote in: Chris Castro, who had the unrewarding job of managing Yahoo's external image, left the internet company as long ago as three months. Castro has disappeared from Yahoo's management gallery, but I can't find any disclosure of her departure beyond that. Why the lag? Yahoo's headhunters are trawling in the wrong places, and savvier people think the job is poison. Says one corp comms tipster: "The people I know they were talking to? DUDS. Yahoo is a sinking ship in many eyes. People like to blame PR. Work stops being fun."
