It's obvious that the new management array at Yahoo isn't sustainable. Jerry Yang, the founder brought in as chief exec, is obviously a stopgap. Terry Semel, his predecessor, is far too bruised to play any meaningful role as non-executive chairman. And Sue Decker didn't have the confidence of the board to move directly into the top slot. So, what's next? A search for a superstar chief exec to turn Yahoo around? Further stagnation? A bidding war between Microsoft and Comcast?
