It's like how The Gulf War did not take place — a Google/YouTube buyout isn't actually necessary at this point, because we have all the media coverage anyway. It's all over the papers, all over the blogs, and now it's all over YouTube in videos like this:

This vid, insightless as its commentary from a 15-year-old host may be, inspired similarly amateur opinions from other users (eleven so far). Right now, it's just a blip on the screen, but these things have a way of snowballing.
